Hi,
Simple question as we have discussed the legal issues elsewhere,

How many going to Zahora and Marjal are pulling toads please?

A "Me" will do...Im just wondering as Im making the toad or trailer decision soon.

We are en-route to Marjal... via Portugal and Zahora..

But we have put ours in the trailer..

Personally I dont think it is worth taking the chance, would spoil a holiday if when entering Spain you had to uncouple the "Toad" on an "A" frame and the misses have to drive the toad..

May cost a bit more on ferry`s but is it worth taking the chance....

I understand Bryan (Admin) got pulled and fined for having a Toad on and "A" frame on the way down to Zahora when he went..

As said just my opinion..

I pulled me pud but will be towing a trailer

Not many A-frames then?

Are the Spanish cops having an effect then?

ty so far, this is helping me make my mind up, especially that one of us has been fined for a toad.

I hope frankie understands the term pulled..:Rofl1:

In case you dont Frankie, it stems back a few years ago when, we britsh men would lightly club you over the head and then drag you off to our caves by your hair....hmm I wonder if that would still work today.

Thank you Harry ....Yes ....I understood that one....

there I thought he was being pulled with a rope

aand there I was thinking he was pulling something with a rope as an alternative to toad or trailer...

Spain = trailer unless there are 2 of you that can drive travelling in which case 1 can drive the rv and the other the car. Make no bones about it you stand a very good chance of being pulled if you use a toad, being fined and made to unhitch it.
Also do not forget to use the a 'long vehicle' sign on the back if you are over 12mtrs (i think) as that again is fineable

Ive pulled a few pigs, but no toads. As for Marjal, only going for the week, so the trailer etc is staying home, car hire on site at Marjal, and sharing wit others on little trips out would be the order of the day i think.

Good plan..great plan ty for the solution I was too near the woods to see the trees....omg im getting a sound of music moment bursting into song....from painted wagon

"...I talk to the trees...thats why they locked me awayyyy"

Not sure about the origin of "pulled", but I did hear an old saying today;

"A dog, a woman, and a walnut tree
The more you beat them
the better they be!"

Bloody un PC these days..........I mean, who'd beat a walnut tree:BigGrin:
