He should remember that at this stage of the season that he cannot win the world championship but you can lose it.

On the BBC they covered the F1, all about Lewis, Max, Ferrari and Mercedes. How the race went, who won, the latest rule changes.
Motogp got a brief mention because someone fell off and had a big accident.

That's the most coverage on the news that the BBC has given F1 in the past few years, it barely gets a sentence normally.
It seems if it's not football then the BBC considers it not worthy of reporting.

Ouch that would make your eyes water, thankfully walked away.

Once said....if you want to finish first, first you have to finish.
Lucky to walk away from this.

He may have walked away but he had damaged himself sufficiently for the medics and organisers to not allow him to start the race.
If you followed the entire weekend you would have seen he became more and more desperate in his riding, even more so than his usual "style" he crashed in just about every session, he has previously been very lucky but recently that seems to have all been used up, couple that with the new bike and tyres and !!
He is undoubtably an extremely fast and talented rider but someone (father or team) need to reel him in otherwise it is going to end very nastily.

I agree, never been a great fan, but he is one of the most talented riders we have seen recently. I do not want to see a career ending accident or worse.

Latest report says he has damaged the optic nerve again giving him double vision, looks like he's unlikely to compete in Argentina next week.

He's good but not good enough to be a GOAT.

That was some crash though, but he'd been a poofballer he would have been rolling around the ground in agony.
I hate to disagree but if that had been a footballer he wouldn't have been rolling around he would have been motionless whereas Marquez got up and walked away. Footballers roll around because they aren't injured, anyone with a serious injury doesn't move because it hurts too much.
Due to the multiple injuries he's received recently Marquez has lost the strength which enabled him to save the many slides he had. He can no longer push the bike back up again.

I watched the highlight's last night and I wondered why he wasn't racing. I must have missed the report.
He was so lucky that the bike didn't clout him as well.

He's always been good but I've still not forgiven him for being such a dick and spoiling Rossi's race for the championship with the two other Spaniards. :swear2:

Don’t follow any motorsport but god he was one lucky chap indeed, show you how wearing the correct safety gear saves lives.
