just been told i'm expected at a wedding on the saturday so thats put the kybosh on that meet.:cry:
never been to this one and really looking forward to it as well.
looks like the next will be pickering:thumb:

What a bummer:Sad:
You might get a free glass of shampoo out of it, but there won't be the mad buzz of being surrounded by lunatic MH owners.

Is there a list of attendees anywhere? - I can't find it. Maybe I'm being 'senior' (60 this year:Eek!:).

John

There doesn't appear to be anything arranged yet John

Jim is still looking for a marshall for the weekend.......I can't volunteer as I shall be working :shout:

Better get that rally up and running on the calendar then :thumb: :thumb:

Does this mean I shall finally meet you "in the flesh" JSW?

 They sure did buddy and I still have that one in the photo. Shame the Neck tensioner has snapped and it has warped.

Come on then....Post an audio file/mp3 of your gig.:thumb:

Are you back in the UK now?

Perhaps if you're local, you can do a gig at Americana for us.:thumb:

 I haven't performed a Gig since 1969. Been back in the UK since the middle of June. Wishing we were back on the lone prairie. :Rofl1:

Me Too.......Me Too:Sad:

 Being in the Army at the time. People came people went. I had several bands during my time in the service. I did a 3 month tour of the USA/Canada in 1969 with the RSDT (Royal Signals Motor Cycle Display Team). At the end o the tour. Hourok presentations invited the team to the Hilton Hotel in Boston. The rep wined us and dined us. After the meal. A friend suggested I fetch my guitar (12 stringer that I bought on the tour) from our hotel. The rep paid for a taxi to take me. After 45 minutes of strumming and singing. The rep (spit and image of Burl Ives) asked if I would like to stay in the USA? I said 'No, my wife is due to have our first child'.:Eeek:
Who knows what might have happened? I still think about it. But NEVER regret it.
That's one of the reasons I decided to take Sandy over and do our last tour.

Sorry for the digression. But that's what Forums are for. Isn't it? :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

I am now booked. Can the marshal or Admin addd me to the booked list:Wink:
