Got a Quest Screen house 4 which has plastic pegs, what would you recommend to bash them into the ground. Or get rid of the plastic pegs and get what ?

The Peggy Pegs look decent and I am sure will last but what a price 12 standard, 8 hardcore plus the drill adapter £54.44...….someone convince me they are worth it

we have the peggy peg copies and originals, and rock pegs, and the metal peggy pegs, and the drill and adapters to put / screw them in, no longer will i be defeated in erecting the roll out awning, hah.....:sneaky:

ok well may be into solid rock could be an issue...........

On a camp site in Nice, many years ago, the ground was so hard, the site gave us 6" nails to use :)

So I always took a few on future camping trips

Thanks for the replies. What about these

Amazon product ASIN B00VO0DL3S
What weight Claw Hammer ?

Been through the lot over the years and those Kampa rock pegs are brilliant, you can buy cheaper ones individually from many camper shops. Best to put them in is a lump hammer which is essential for XL pegs for storm straps.

we use a variety of most of above rock pegs, but the weakest part is the plastic hook bit on top, I put in with a lump hammer and remover with either puller or claw hammer, which might be why I break so many of the tops

We do have some with much more heavy duty plastic tops was trying to find them for you but failed, but have found these

so thanks for the thread, I now can replace my broken tops in the absence of finding the chunky topped ones

Thanks all for now I have got some screw in ones that you put in with a drill and some of the plastic tops that DavidG58 linked. I'll keep an eye out for the Alde ones as well.

Thanks all -:)
