I’m awaiting delivery of a Malibu 640 and interested to find out the following -

Does anyone out there have a Malibu PVC and have upgraded any or all of the following?

Lithium battery - home much what make and where did you squeeze in

Solar panels- how much

B2B- which one and where located

Inverter - which one and where located

Thanks

Hi
We have a 2015 640 Le Malibu we love it
Just put a 2000 watt pure sine wave power inverter in behind drivers seat as we have second battery there
Having 175watt solar fitted in two weeks by vanbitz near Taunton

Thanks - that’s good to hear - we are looking forward to ours arriving!

Would you be able to send a photo of where the 2nd battery and inverter are located?

I'd try to get away with a single lithium battery if I could to save weight. It'll still deliver more power and store more energy than a pair of lead acids.

I managed to squeeze two 110Ah lithium batteries under the navigator’s seat. I think there’s a bit of overkill as we’re low power users and one lithium battery was probably enough. Still, more capacity is always preferred to less.

I got a FogStar 280Ah under my seat. Definitely overkill.
