So I decided, I couldn’t be bothered to service the Motorhome myself this year and wanted a lot doing under the vehicle and didn’t fancy crawling around underneath myself. ![Winking face :wink: 😉](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png)
I’ve known Mark at Vehicle Craft for nearly 20 years and he always looked after the wife’s Range Rovers and helped me out occasionally with my race car, when it needed two people (or extra eyes) back in the day.
He did a full service on my Iveco based motorhome & some other bits for me:
Air filter
Fuel filter
Oil change (inc filter
)
Brake fluid change
Coolant change
Rear differential oil change
Gearbox oil change
Tracking check & adjustment (it needed a good bit on the front! Bloody pot holes!)
Installed (ran) two cables under the vehicle (while he was down there)![Zany face :zany_face: 🤪](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f92a.png)
New brake pads fitted on rear (haven’t paid for these yet)
Bonnet release adjustment
All came to an amazingly good value £446.41 inc all parts and labour (exc brake pads) including genuine Iveco oil filter (non return valve is essential) and Iveco fuel filter cartridge, the rest OEM grade patten parts.
TBH, I thought it would be double that! Top bloke!
(He’s a Mobile one man band working around central Bedfordshire)
I took the Motorhome for its MOT yesterday. No advisories, always a bonus! The MOT station weighs each axle as it passes through, they work with two lanes and MOT any private vehicle including up to double decker bus size.
Anyway, I’m still loaded in full touring mode, half a tank of fresh water in main water tank, so around 160kg and a nearly full tank of grey maybe 150kg and the weights were Front 1991kg (2300kg axle limit) and Rear 4968kg (5000kg axle limit). TBH, that’s a little tighter than I had realised! Time for a cull of the unnecessary items![Zany face :zany_face: 🤪](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f92a.png)
