ford benimar tessoro
Hello

I have a ford benimar Tesoro 3 months old and when it is connected to electric hook up it’s not recognising that it is connected.

The microwave and plugs do work but it wipes out my leisure batteries like it’s not using the mains electric.

I have this box next to the boiler with a button on it. If I hold the button down everything works fine but the button will not stay on. Pic attached.

Please help.

that is the battery charger that replenishes whatever is taken through the leisure battery.
You need to find a way to hold the button in till you can get it fixed or attached a seperate charger to the batteries.
If it was me and was urgent on site, id stick a toothpick/taped or something in it till I can get it fixed

I want to take it back to the dealer but I’m away in the motorhome. Sticking it down sounds like a good short term solution.

could even be a simple switch problem if you take the cover off

Perhaps that button is broken but it could be telling you that there is some other fault, which is why it won’t stay engaged. It could be protection from a fault and I would not be in a hurry to stick it down.

I’ve took the cover off all there is a switch in the top left to select a b or c and the button. It still doesn’t click into on soon as i let go it’s off.
