This thread is for those attending the Lymington Rally - main thread here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...e-of-wight-day-trip-more-august-rally.161595

@big map suggested a visit to http://www.vibrantforest.co.uk/ for a brewery tour (y) costing £10 per person for a minimum of 8 people if prebooked & there is also https://dancingcows.co.uk/tours/ brewery & distillery at £9.50 per person.
Both are a short car journey (or taxi ride) rather than a walk away but may be options that could be explored further if some interest.

I would like to attend either or both brewery tours, just me, not Alice or the dogs. @big map, this is your chance to prove that you can organise a piss up in a brewery

If anyone is interested in organising a group visit to one of these tours then probably best to try & book with the brewery & taxi company (if needed) now as sure they will be busy.

Vibrant Forest Brewery
"These are £10 per person and for a minimum of 10 people.
For £10 you get a branded Vibrant pint glass, a pint of draught beer and a sampling session of various Vibrant beers.
You must book in advance as they are only held on Saturdays between 11am and 3pm.
Over 18s only" ( :giggle: )

Dancing Cows Brewery
"We run Distillery and Brewhouse tours most Wednesdays and Fridays from 6.30pm until 8.00pm.

On the tour, you will discover how we make our spirits and beers and there will be lots of sampling as Richard takes you on a humorous journey through the history of alcohol from 6000BC to the present day.

You can also take the opportunity to stock up on bottled beers and spirits with the added bonus of a 10% discount for tour visitors on the night."

Website links on first post.

Ringwood Brewery are one of the sponsors of Lymington Seafood Festival & we did try & get them to bring some samples to the Rally for a beer tasting session but they will be too busy with getting set up for the Festival. They will have a "take home deal " for their products there so maybe worth some getting together to do your own tasting session? :drinks:
They have an interesting selection with great names:
