Just organised Green Card for Türkiye, through LV from 17th March to 2nd July 2025, cost £109.05.
Really happy with that.
Motorhome for year was £333.67 from 1st March 2024.
FIAT Assist covers all of Turkiye, not just the European part so for a worrier, like me, I should be covered.
Right you lot, please don’t p..s on my bonfire.

Separate cover, extended warranty.
When I use to go to Türkiye in the car with a folding camper, the cover through Brittania rescue, which I got through Boundless ( was Civil Service Mot assoc) only covered the European side.
It was a “ benefit” with the extended warranty ie I was covered in whole of Türkiye.

That’s interesting. If you are staying in Türkiye for that long, including return journey to UK, you will be well over the 90 days per trip they allow me. Overall they only allow me 180 days abroad. I tried to extend both 90 and 180 with them this year and they refused.

I understood they allow 180 days “foreign travel” in total. So for me part is the green card, ie the duration I am in Türkiye and the remainder is in Europe. We don’t actually tour in Europe it’s getting to Türkiye and return, about 8 days getting there and 9 back, extra day to get dog wormed. So in total less than 180 days.
I did ask would they reduce my premium as I was effectively paying twice ie if I was in Türkiye I wasn’t in Europe! There was a brief pause and then they explained that wasn’t how it worked!

Just checked. I also have my travel insurance with LV and that is the bit that restricts me to 90 days a trip not the MH insurance!!! Apologies for misleading you. It seems unless I ‘pop home’ for a day I’ll have to change travel insurers before I do my planned Türkiye trip in 2026!

I have my travel insurance with LV and yes only for 90 days.
I looked on the internet and found a company which will offer you insurance that you can take out whilst you are away. I know this is going to cost me but so be it.
I considered flying home for a couple of days but adding air fares, taxi from UK airport and the aggravation for me and my wife I just decided to bite the bullet and will pay the extra!
I could have got single trip insurance but as we plan to go away later in the year there would be more cost.
It’s a nightmare!

Yes I agree.

I’m staying with LV for the MH at the min because of their country coverage and willingness to issue Green Cards, Morocco and Türkiye especially .It’s just a shame they won’t countenance extending the 180 days.

On travel insurance they also include Morocco in their European offering, some don’t. Time to start planning for next years policy already!

We have just renewed for the fifth year with LV. We honestly can not fault them for price or service on our Multicar policy.

I originally started in the Frizzell years.
