Hi Motor Homers,

I have a 6 year old Nuevo, not that that makes any difference to my question, which is what lubrication is best for the window sliders, lock mechanism, handles and anything else that moves within that area?
I oil my doors and other moving parts regularly but on my new (to me) I don't think an oil can has been seen, ever.

If you read the title of this thread and thought of another moving part then no tea for you this evening:mad:
Thanks for your help

I'm sure that it depends on the materials used, though most will be common. My Hymer uses plastic hinges, I assume these shouldn't be lubricated.
You would expect that a vehicle of this cost would come with instructions.
I carry a spray can of dry lube

Two things to avoid on plastics, WD40 makes nylon and some other plastics swell, a lot of Motorhome door hinges have nylon inserts. Lithium white grease it will make plastic sliders like on steps stick and judder.

You can't go far wrong with Silicone and PTFE sprays.
