Could anyone advise on the following please.I want to reposition the level indication display for my underslung LPG tank. This might mean lengthening or shortening the green wire between the tank and display.Just wondered if this would affect the calibration in anyway.

I fitted an LED level indicator when I first fitted our underslung tank and extended the green wire by over 2 metres with no problem other than the usual very poor accuracy which comes as standard.

Thank you very much. That was what i was hoping to hear👍.I agree about the accuracy but it is better than nothing i suppose.

Why are these gauges wired only to work with the engine running ? must be a reason they are all the same.
Yours must be wired up to the vehicle battery, I wired mine to the leisure

Because there will be a small drain on the battery, maybe insignificant most of the time, but significant if the mh is left unused over the winter, and no solar to charge the battery.

I have seen a gauge with a push switch on it.I might get one of these instead.

I wired mine through a rocker switch next to it so you can have it on or off.

Mine was wired to the leisure battery and had an on/off switch.

Just swapped my Gasit indicator for the Livello found a permanent live from the cab battery and wired the red wire from the gauge to that used existing green and black that were wired into the old gauge. Push button shows level push again to turn off. Sorted
Got mine yesterday.Hopefully fitting on Monday.

I fitted a Mopeka device to one of my underslung tanks - didn't know they work on any orientation in the options menu.

The Livello has a built in switch so I can now check the level without having to start my vans engine every time. Nothing funny about it at all !

Sorry but I find it funny 😄
You just add a tiny switch in the live feed .
As we tell everyone they are a level indicator and definitely not an accurate contents gauge, smaller diameter tanks are the worst .
