I wasn't talking about your kit but this dodgy transfer system that was being touted. I know your setup is cost-effective. I only dragged your LPG consumption in as an example.Something wrong with your maths, compared to Calor bottles I save over £455 a year compared to 13kg Calor bottles or £650 per year compared to 6kg Calor bottles. That is based on Calors RRP but most suppliers charge more.
No you don't I took 2 back to calor with no contractAnd you have to have the original hire contract.
But did you get any money back or just a thank you?No you don't I took 2 back to calor with no contract
But it's not just the saving. It's a lot more convenient not having to disconnect bottles and lug them around to get a replacement and then lug them back into the gas locker. Secure them in place and test the connections. Etc etc.Something wrong with your maths, compared to Calor bottles I save over £455 a year compared to 13kg Calor bottles or £650 per year compared to 6kg Calor bottles. Because we live in Rip off Britain, maybe!Err ................1 question how can bottles be cheaper than from a LPG pump
You don't have to if it's that bad and the grass is greener elsewhereBecause we live in Rip off Britain, maybe!

I just can't see why they would mess about for what little they are going to save, if anything.I can't believe that people think this is a legal way of dealing with LPG
But reading through some posts just goes to prove Evolution is not for everyone
And how its done in Morocco I believe. You don't need the pump. Invert the calor bottle, pour warm water on it and the liquid will migrate to the colder tank, you can see it moving if you have a sight glass fitted but also the pipes tremble as it flows. The vehicle could get over filled though if the 80% rule applies.
I've never done it with LPG but refrigerant is exactly the same, pressures are a bit higher but it's essentially it's the same stuff.
