The vast majority of MFG’s 400 forecourts never sold LPG anyway so they can’t stop selling it. MFG was never a big player in LPG forecourt sales.I also understand there are going to be over 400 MFG owned fuel stations that will stop selling LPG from the end of 2024.
Well I guess we will be loosing our one in Golden Cross as it is owned by MFG so the nearest will be 25 odd miles away which is a bit of a pain. The vast majority of MFG’s 400 forecourts never sold LPG anyway so they can’t stop selling it. MFG was never a big player in LPG forecourt sales.
Why.... you will pass loads of other stockists on your travels... Just fill up as and when you pass one..the nearest will be 25 odd miles away which is a bit of a pain.
£1.30 PL!Topped up with LPG this morning at my local Shell garage ready for our ferry trip to Spain this week. The last time I filled up it was 99.9 p/L, this morning it was 129.9 p/L! That quite an increase, only a few pence cheaper than unleaded petrol.

I always fill on way home from a trip so always full tank for start of next trip
It's only because we are staying put for a while so it just means travelling out of the area to refill...first world problem really just inconvenient when it has been so readily available! But yes of course not an issue if we are travelling around.Why.... you will pass loads of other stockists on your travels... Just fill up as and when you pass one..

But it is no longer owned by Morrisons they sold out to some millionaires!Morrisons have also jumped in price to £1:29 from 99p a litre
Just filled up a few weeks ago so ok for the moment
Seems an unusually big jump in cost ?!
The treacle mine garage off the roundabout near Polegate is another possibility nearer to you.Well I guess we will be loosing our one in Golden Cross as it is owned by MFG so the nearest will be 25 odd miles away which is a bit of a pain.
They haven't had LPG since they changed from COOP to Morrisons months ago.The treacle mine garage off the roundabout near Polegate is another possibility nearer to you.
There are about 3 x the number of LPG powered cars in France than in the UK and this is bound to affect the forecourt price. Demand for refillable in the UK is lower and falling. However some European countries use a mix of butane and propane whereas in the UK we get pure propane and that matters in cold weather.Topped up in Calais week last Thursday. 99 cents a litre.
I'll keep that in mind. Is this indicated on the pumps at all? There are about 3 x the number of LPG powered cars in France than in the UK and this is bound to affect the forecourt price. I doubt it. In summer they probably vary the mix according to the spot prices, i.e. use whichever is cheapest. In winter they may shift to propane because of the cold weather. For cars that fill up several times a month it doesn’t matter but we use so little you don’t want to get caught out with a butane mix when the cold weather comes.I'll keep that in mind. Wow!My man near Telford crematorium is still 75 ppl
