LPG near Canterbury P&R

We plan on staying at the P7R on Wednesday night to catch a morning ferry, can anyone tell me if there is an LPG pump close by. I've noticed there is a morrisons petrol station but not sure of they do LPG.

BP Dover South had no LPG yesterday (Sunday 3/9). Next closest is Minster Services up towards Ramsgate, easy 30 minutes from Dover. Morrisons do not have LPG.

Morrison's in Sittingbourne have LPG if you come down the A2 from the Dartford crossing.

I would normally say yes, but since the house move i can't find my adaptors. They will be in a safe place in the garage but i forgot to look for them before our new kitchen was delivered on Saturday, yep you guessed it the kitchen is currently stored in the garage

I have one full 11kg bottle and one just about empty so we will have more than enough to last the 18 days, just thought i'd fill up if convenient.

Can you not get it in France?

Not advisable, French gas has high oily residues, not too bad if you have filters before the regulator but I wouldn't risk it without. Also UK LPG is 100% Propane so much better when returning to a cold UK.

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately we don't leave Dumfries until 4pm so would be late passing and our return journey is Rotterdam to Hull.

Sittingbourne morrys has a height limit, I couldn't get under in the RV but I doubt most euro vans would have any trouble.

Morrison's in Sittingbourne have LPG if you come down the A2 from the Dartford crossing.

It is fairly straightforward to get to Sittingbourne Morrisons: M2 junction 5, A249 North (Sheppey direction), take the Milton Regis exit and head east on the B2006 which gets you to Morrisons while avoiding the town centre.

However, although the filling station has long opening hours, the LPG pump isn't available after the kiosk closes which may happen too early for your arrival from Dumfries.

Thanks Barry, we don’t really need to fill up it was just a nice to have. We have one full 11kg and a nearly empty, one normally lasts us from March to October so I’m sure we’ll be fine for 18 days
