Hi, as it’s prohibited to fill LPG by yourself and as a general rule only sold for propulsion and not for cooking/heating, we all know the saying “if refused drive to next one” and most people have reported that they have managed to get it.

Rather than driving into every fuel station is there a particular brand of fuel station that is more likely to serve you LPG in your experiences? Eni, TotalEnergies, Shell, Q8, Esso, LeOne, Repsol, Tamoil

Thanks

Never had any problems getting LPG in Italy. I agree they like to fill for you but that's fine by me. Never been refused.

I filled up three times in Europe, Croatia, Italy and Germany, never had any issues getting it, I served myself in Croatia and Germany, but as you said, in Italy they filled up for me, but he was juggling filling from 10 pumps and he managed to get much more in than I ever do!

It was the Elgas station just outside of Lucca.
