Hi All, we have just arrived in France, this is our first trip to France. We have Gaslow fitted to our van, we have been spoilt when travelling in Germany because many of the fuel stations sell LPG. How are things in France. Is it readily available at main filling stations. We have the adapter so no problem there but I read something on MyLPG about some not allowing refilling of bottles. Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks.

I usually look for supermarkets on myLPG.eu, some filling stations refused to let me fill up. Many of the supermarkets have unmanned lpg pumps so you can use 24/7 and not have to rush.

I have that, it was on there I read about some places not allowing refilling of bottles.
It’s true that most Total garages don’t allow it - but I have found some do. I do have an outside filler point (plus adapter). As mentioned there are many unmanned stations (often Intermarché or E. Leclerc) that aren’t a problem. Also as mentioned, there’s always another not to far away. MyLPG.eu is my bible.

I don't have that problem as we dual fuel so most of the time we fill up it is for propulsion not domestic, I have never been asked though.
