Low emissions zone?

Hi everyone another question! What do we do if we accidentally stray into a low emissions zone.....how so we know we've strayed? I presume we have to pay and whom do we pay? Any help is appreciated ..... thank you all

where? in Germany or France you'd have to be actually stopped to be fined & then it is tap washers.in the Uk it is anpr, you don't know until the multi million pound fine arrives.

Hi we accidentally strayed into one in Bath , on our way to a canal boat holiday . It was easier for all of us to travel up with our luggage than in our car. Never driven in bath before and must have missed the warning sign whilst concentrating on the sat nav .We received a notification about 25 days later with a photo showing our van, which is classed as a commercial vehicle in a low emission zone apparently?. Cars are exempt. Could have argued it but decided dust to pay up , about £67 I think ?

I got caught going to Bristol airport for a few hundred yards. £9.00 they didn't get me coming out via Gardarno

It then means you dont have to worry.

Having a Crit Air doesnt mean you dont have to worry. To then avoid a fine you have to monitor the information and not drive on roads that are restricted to your vehicle class.

The good news is I'm under the impression nobody has triggered any of the temporary ones yet.
