Low emission zones in Germany and buying an environmental zone sticker

Hi,
We'll be travelling around Germany this year in our 2021 Pilote (Euro 6 CI) for 2 months. It looks as though we will have to pass through some low emission zones and we'll need to get an environmental zone sticker. I've done some research and found a website: https://urbanaccessregulations.eu which has a link to buying a sticker, but when I click on it and enter my registration, it doesn't recognise it. Has anyone had to buy a sticker in the past when visiting Germany and if so, what is the best way of doing this?

We bought one a few years back from an official office, it's a bit like our Dvla but local. Sorry can't remember the name for it. You need your reg doc, it cost about 8 euro

We've bought a couple from the first TUV station you come across over the German border. Only a few quid and they just need your registration document

We bought one at a tyre place in Aachen. Bit of confusion over the V5 etc but soon sorted and the woman uttered the immortal "papers please" so beloved of many a war film.

Ordered ours on line , only about €5, beware lots of scam sites, incredibly efficient, arrived within a few days and is for the life of the van so worth getting.

just go into any main car dealers and they will issue you one all you need is your v5 and 5 euro

That’s the one we have used for last 3 vans. On our latest van it took less than a week last year.
