Lost french site

If you find yourself with a bit of time on your hands, open google maps and “drive” along the coast.
I found a photo of us in our VW camper parked near a beach from over 30 years ago.
i knew it was in Brittany and spent hours looking at the coast on Google maps and eventually found it.

Then.....

Now, after many hours of searching...

It’s Plage du Guesclin, between Cancale and St Malo.

Probably not this one in that it is not an Aire but a municipal site. Pointe de Groin, its just above Cancale, just across the Baie de Mont St MICHEL. It’s on a cliff top on the coastal path, with small seafood restaurant 1/2 K on the point

I went to France and stayed on a site that was 5to 10 euros per night pay by machine just off a road large stopping place with about 50 motorhomes just off a cliff edge we walked along the side of the cliff to a restaurant that sold nice sea food and jolted out to the sea would love to go back have googled n googled but can’t find it think it was Brittany if anyone has any idea please message ?

Haven't read all the replies, so may have been suggested before but have you had a look at your 'timeline' in Google maps, even though you don't know it, all the places you have been for the last about 5 years is on there.
If you don't know how to find it, just ask.

It's described here. I find it useful but if you start uploading images and reviews to Google maps they will start pestering you based on where you've been!

I think it's brilliant and have everything turned on, for where I go I couldn't care less who knows and to be able to look back at a restaurant we ate in 5 years ago is fantastic.
It is loads more simple than the official stuff , just go to maps , click on your account , top right , scroll down to timeline, then when the date comes up , scroll to the right on the actual dates and you can go back as far as you like , every day.
