Hi All
I am having an issue with the satellite dish not locking onto Astra 2 (28N). The system is an automatic Alden single LNB.
I can however get Astra 1 with good pictures.

Does anyone know what Astra 2 transponder settings should be in the SCC control module.

Currently it is set at 10714, 22000, H, 5/6, DVBS1

Many thanks 😊

Channels that were on that frequency (from Channel 4) were moved away from that frequency late last year.
Hence why you are unable to lock onto it, as there is nothing being sent from that frequency.

If yo want a list of frequencies to scan for on Astra 2 see : https://www.lyngsat.com/Astra-2E-2F-2G.html

Curiosity roused by having a nose at the link provided - is there any reason why Alden provided those revised settings (above post) based on the channels which are there?

Thanks all
I had an email from Benjamin at Alden this morning confirming the settings had changed .

The new settings are below and match what 'RowleyBirkinQC' kindly quoted above.

Its a PAN European beam frequency, so nice and strong in the UK and Western Europe, so easy to lock onto.
YOu could use any one of the pan european beam frequencies...
