Hi, I found two loose screws that were about to fall out on two rear lights. I tried to screw them back in but they just keep tuning and wont tighten. I have just rammed some sponge in the holes for now. Any ideas how to fix TIA.

Cocktail stick dipped in a but of PVA or evo-stick glue and then insert in the hole and snap off followed by the screw.

Are they 'screws' or machine screws. Often those light fittings screw into a nut in a rubber insert that expand when tightened. My last MH must have had about four that dropped inside the bodywork.

If machine screws, as suggested above, be worth getting the whole assembly off and fixing the female parts of the fixings..

Following Mr Funflairs theme and if they are screws, I’ve moved from cocktail sticks to bits of cable ties (unless wood) which creates almost a rawl plug for the screw.

Finally, if you’ve lost the nuts and it’s machine screws, then Rivnuts and or rubber Rivnuts work very well.
