Looking up previous answers

Is there a way to look up previous answers instead of posting a new thread ie can I fit a gutter at the front of the roof?

Use the search facility at top right

You have to be creative in your search terms and don’t use more than one or two words. The search facility is not like google which will suggest “did you mean” …
It will look for the exact words and sometimes in the relevant useful threads, they are mistyped/spelt or use a different word for what you want.
For gutter at the front of the roof, I might use
Roof drain
Water roof
Run off roof
Drip stop
And so on until I have exhausted my search

However to your question, you could fit a drip stop such as those for over the sliding door.
