Can anyone suggest best place to buy a refillable lpg bottle from , would also like the Bluetooth add on to check levels . Do these work well ? Its my first Motorhome and I’ve had it for a few weeks now, currently using a borrowed calor type bottle.
Thanks Paul .

I’m just outside Glasgow, but have a guy who can fit it for me I think .

Personally I would go for any well known make, all have to be built to a minimum safety standard, some garages will not let you fill " portable" refillable bottles so best to have one that is fitted. Depending on what size and fittings you need there can be some good deals on a well known auction site, sometimes used kits as well. We had our Gas-it professionally fitted and it wasn't that much more expensive than buying the kit ourselves.

Several places but I would use Autogas 2000 in Thirsk, they fit all gas bottles & underslung tanks, they have all the fittings & accessories also, they sell on-line also, great company reviews, owner is a member on Fun.(y)
Or there is Hamilton Gas Products, they also sell everything and deliver if you want to fit it yourself.

If you go for a Safefill bottle you won’t need a Bluetooth level addon………you can see the gas level through the bottle.

They are also affiliated with Morrison’s filling stations so should have no problem filling👍🏼

I haven't bothered with a level indicator but have fitted two Gaslow refillables and when one is empty I shut its valve and open the one on the other cylinder.
One of the big advantages of refillables (apart from the substantial saving on gas cost) is that you can top them up whenever you see an LPG filling station, however much gas still remains in them.
Obviously, if you decide to have an autochange system you won't necessarily know when the first cylinder has run out and it has changed automatically to the other unless you have a Bluetooth indicator or you open the locker and look.
The Gaslow cylinders have a built-in indicator which is more or less accurate but I don't actually need to know accurately how much gas is left in mine since I always top up when on a trip regardless, whenever I see an LPG garage.
Its much the same as judging when you need fuel in the m/h, however my ex seemed to run her car permanently with the gauge in the red.

I have fitted Gasit bottles and they are great. 10% discount if you have a Forces or Blue Light Card. I have a Safefill bottle for BBQ and Fire pit. Again, great bottle and easy to fill.
