Looking for HGV Motorhome Insurance... can you help me?

Good afternoon
After three years of conversion, I finally got a Motorcaravan body type on a chassis MAN TGM 18/320... the motorhome is 12 tons. I am desperately looking for a broker able to deal with this kind of vehicle, as I can't find anyone... not even Adrian Flux can cover it. We are looking, if possible, to TPO only. Can someone help?

Afternoon, I've had a look around on MHF and wanted some up to date (2023) info on American RV insurance. People have mentioned NFU, Comfort, Adrien Flux, LV etc just looking for pointers who best to start with for insuring a 34 foot LHD RV, classed as a private HGV. TIA... Spike

Try Campton insurance 01883 742460 its still the same phone number but just joined with another insurance company
They quoted me for an RV recently and also for a couple of yrs for a homebuild (but you may need to get it valued by an engineer

Why not have a word with your local HGV companies or Horse Box owners, see who they use. When I sold off my Coach and Bus business, I still owned a 'preserved' Double Decker for a while and the same insurance company did that. Sorry I can't remember and I'm away from home, so cannot look it up.

If you don't mind me asking, who did you get the insurance with in the end as I see your 'country flag' is currently Italy I assume you are away in the BIG MAN?

Up until my retirement, 10yrs ago when I had my Trucks & Buses, I was with a company called Towergate.
Never had call to use there accident services so cannot comment how good they were but they were very good otherwise.
Might be worth giving them a ring, good luck!
