Anyone any suggestions for a exhaust workshop very close to Benicassim. Need to replace end section on motorhome - Mercedes Sprinter based. Have Googled and some likely places but any recommendations?
Thank you for responses,

There is a Norauto down the road in Castellon.

OP doesn't say if he wants to have it fit or DIY.

There are several garages 'Taller de Mechanico' near the railway station. Perhaps a walk up there with a photo of the exhaust system of the MH would get information on where it could be rectified?

Good Luck.

I can't as I have no knowledge of that area. Possibly bobandjanie might have some idea, or EuroTrotters ?

We don't have any type of standalone 'exhaust ' places around here most would use a local garage.
Unlike the UK where I know and trust a lot of car and commercial garages, I only know car garages here. Not in Benicasim but Benissa/Teulada & Javea

What I have had is exemplary service from the Mercedes dealer vis auto

Maybe they could help or point you in the right direction. Ask for Stefan if he still works there. He speaks fluent English .

I will have a think !

Otherwise Andy or Roy (both brits)
http://javeaautosales.com/ May be able to recommend a commercial garage .

Local commercial Mercedes dealer wont look at Sprinters - too small for them, Mercedes car dealer who would are saying two weeks before they can even look at it. Independant quoting ten days to get new exhuast. It is only bend on tail pipe that is perforated (causing damage to slide out locker) I'm sure exhaust repair tape would getus home - but I can't seem to find any locally. Off on our bikes to search again this morning.

We once fettled a hole in our exhaust whilst touring in France with a Cola can, soft wire and exhaust gunk. It did us till we got home.

Have visited Chinese shop. Soft wire, tinspins , aluminium foil, round metal pastry cutters and a pair of swimming trunks purchased. We also have booked into local garage 8am Thursday morning, hopefully Chinese purchases won't be needed!

Now at Saumur, added extra bean can and two hose clips - fingers crossed we will make it home.
PS exhaust was only five years old and a genuine Mercedes one!
