Looking for Dog Friendly Beaches around the Royan area of France

Hi All
Heading off to France from the 12th Sept for 3 weeks and looking to spend at least a week doing very little. Are the beaches in this area normally dog friendly at this time of year?
After a week or so R and R we think we might travel around the Dordogne so any recommendations for either would be great.

Given that we have the hound I think campsites might be better than Aires and we have just joined ACSI.

Think most are OK after September 1st ? Day after we get back, typical! There's one a mile or so North of Royan 365 days for dogs. Bon Anse Beach...

Thanks yes I did see that one and that’s what tempted me to that area. There also seems to be a forestry type park near there.
