Looking for a van conversion

I'm looking for a used professionally converted van conversion. Ideally in the 5.4m to 6m range. Something in the 16-20 plate age group. Looking to purchase from a private seller. Something like a Hobby Vantana , Adria Twin, or similar model. Must have a rear fixed bed.

Theres bound to be a few on the market, I guess you’ve tried the classifieds and motorhome warehouse.

Have you considered a professional conversion on a van to your exact spec? We have this and wouldnt do anything else now. Good luck in your quest

Have you considered Sunlight PVCs? Good spec for your money, (at least they were when I bought mine,) very happy with it thus far. Don't see many for sale though, perhaps that tells its own story? Good luck in your search.

Jan Harper - there's a Sunlight Cliff PVC for sale in the Classifieds. Not sure if you can see that or whether it's paid up members only. It's a 2018 model with an asking price of £42,000 (has been reduced from £44,000).

Thanks for the reply. Never considered having one specifically built for us, too many difficult decisions to make, & too long to wait as we've just sold our motorhome. We would prefer to buy private as dealers tend to add on an extra £5-10grand!

Ha! I know the wait times are a killer when you are excited!
Good luck , also, second hand tend to have the glitches all fixed and sometimes some extras too.

Hi, denisejoe, thanks for that. Had seen it, it's the layout we're looking for but unfortunately 6.4m is just too long for our drive. Our Chausson went yesterday that we've owned for 8 years - can't believe how sad we were to see it go

Try looking at the Cliff 600 at 6m then. We wanted the 6.4m but that was too long for our parking space, so went for the shorter van. Only real difference is we sleep across the width of the van and not length ways.

Under about 5’ 10” and width way sleeping if fine.

She’s got a few more bits fitted now.

Search for a MWB (6m) VW Crafter (or MAN TGE - same thing) and have it converted to your own spec.

Bit of a curve ball here....

Our daughter has just bought her first 'proper' campervan. She has the same problem as you, ie sub 6metres.

She has bought an old La Strada.
No I had never heard of them either. Hers is a 2001 vintage Regent L.

They are German built factory conversions and I have to say I am very impressed with the build quality of her 21 y.o. Van.

There is a 2019 one on Autotrader at the moment.....

There are lots on ebay ...I've been looking at adria twins etc for a friend . Pretty much the same requirements. There's a few good buys on there
