Travelling from Essex to the new forest middle of September.
Looking for a campsite with fishing for a few days. Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, West Sussex any of those areas would be fine. If within walking or cycling distance to a pub would be a bonus.

4 years….
Was going to this one fairly regularly the last few years although not been this year.
You can park in the big field just spitting distance from the match lake they also have a carp lake and another various fish lake down the slope a bit.
Very good tackle shop and I think the cafe should be open bye now, showers and toilet there also.
Just outside 5 min walk is a shop and garage another 5 minutes is a pub and that is next to the main walking and cycling part of the forest.
If you do go say you want to park up near the lake as they have a small camping bit as you go in but luckily my van was to big to get in😁
Very good fishing also, catching all day!!
