That looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.

I had a LWB high roof so possibly a bit more space vertically or maybe the same, not sure on that one.

I’ll throw in a couple of pics to give you the idea of what I did. The two major changes that I would make if I was doing it again would be to use a mini-split A/C instead of roof mounted and I would use lithium batteries instead of AGM. And I wouldn’t waste my money, time and effort with a tank monitor gauge.

Apart from that, residential refrigerator, microwave, propane heating, 2 ring gas hob, cooker hood/extractor, small oven, hand cranked washing machine, electric fire opposite the sofa, queen bed (80” x 60”) which dropped down at night, ceramic toilet with black tank (OK so that would need to be a cassette toilet for UK), shower with regular shower head and rain shower head, remote mechanical control to dump waste water, all round CCTV, wood panelling using light weight 1/4” Cedar.

100% self build on a budget and I even bought a sewing machine and made the curtains myself.

Good luck with your project, I think the planning can be more fun than the actual build.

Bloody hell Bill…. Ere we go again…😆🤣
It won’t be finished till the end of the year got a lot of preparation to do but should be ready for our Christmas trip.
Never done a conversion so a big learning curve it not getting delivered till next week.
Going around the dealers looking at layouts
Hoping to make pods
The wee read van was grate but fell short on a few things
The van I have got is for a transit Farley rust free but before I even put a bit of insulation in will be treating everything metal inside and out

What sort of lounge are you after?

Something with sofas, that could be made into beds?

Or a euro type dinette up front with swivel seats?
