Long term (8 week) health and breakdown insurance - EU

We are currently covered for health and UK breakdown through our Barclays account, but just noticed it only covers for 31 days - oops! looked at the Nationwide Flexplus and they are the same, i'm sure they both used to be for longer? Breakdown is through comfort, so is fine for now.
Who can you recommend for both?

Comfort is breakdown only, but horrendously expensive, so will be looking to change if poss, but will try LV, thanks.

Yeah I meant the breakdown part of your question… too expensive is the answer!

All - except Co-op are for 31 days but can be upgraded. For example Nationwide will charge £95 to extend to 62 days.

Nationwide includes breakdown and it covers any car/motorhome you own and any person driving a car/motorhome you drive. In the UK it's operated by the AA. EU covered by a European partner and will cover a vehicle up to 8 metres in the EU. So excellent cover.

It's an often discussed subject and there has been some concern recently over the hike in the previously popular Nationwide Flex account cover. I have done some research into alternative packaged bank accounts and thought I'd post my findings. A few caveats: I might have got some details...

Hi VXman are the figures for extending the Nationwide Flex Direct to 62 days current as of Feb 2025? I ask as we are in the same boat as the OP.

I'm a little confused now re. Breakdown cover with NW Flexplus. Does anyone know where it states trip length for breakdown cover?

I know healthy cover is a maximum of 31 days unless extended.

Don't think there's a limit on the breakdown cover.
