I’m a newbie
The EHU on our site has a n Ariel socket - never know there was such a thing - learning all the time.
3 quick questions

1 are these common on sites?
2 what length should I get?
3 Where do you get such a cable I’ve seen a 7m cable on Amazon
Cheers

Just pace or measure it out. Normally it's because the campsite has a bad signal.

I carry a 25m coax lead to use on the basis that an EHU lead is 25m so, if that reaches the bollard, the coax will too! They are common on sites with poor TV coverage - usually, but not always! - and the C&MC site shops sometimes sell the leads, or you could buy the coax and make your own.

(y)

(do you have and external aerial point on your van? If not, you may need a piece of ‘flat’ coax to allow you close the window properly if that is how it feeds in to your tv... You can buy flat coax leads on Amazon/eBay - only a short length is needed.)

Get 100 spec cable for the best low loss signal. I bought 25m because sometimes on the site in Benidorm the socket is 2 pitches away.

Clarification edit: WG100 is better spec than RG6

RG6 isn’t a bad spec cable, but if you get confused with all the different specs just make sure the cable is 75ohms.

As of Andy Pk post ,cheap as chips to buy and next to no weight in the van, lots of sites in Spain we have used had the option of cable hook up for TV useful when bugger all satellite reception or Algerian TV special ( Think Swiss TV but 40 years behind!)

I made an adapter so I can use my satellite cable as a fly lead. Coax to F type. ( I got a cheap satellite dish kit it came with 20m of cable, from Amazon if I can’t get a signal on terrestrial tv. ) .
I’ve also got one of those duplex adapters before the tv to split the power from the satellite receiver and terrestrial aerial, this way I can use the same connection outside the van.

Sorry, but I just don’t get this thing with TV in the MH.

I‘m well into technology, and there are many ways to watch TV on the road, but isn’t the point that your not home doing the normal boring stuff you’d normally do, like watching a TV?

Showing my age but wasn’t there a TV show years ago who’s catch line was why don’t you turn off your TV and do something less boring instead?

Well I hear you 👍 but each to their own, it wouldn't bother me if I ever saw a TV programme ever again 🤔 but Ann likes it so we've got one in the van 👱‍♀️❤️

If Ann wants TV then Ann should have TV, no argument from me.
