London site options? Easy train or tube links?

Following on from the thread about Abbey Wood as a location to visit London - Are there any other recommended places to stay for easy access into the city? We've stayed at Lea Valley and Wyatts Covert sites before.

Just wondered if there were any other options (pubstops, CLs, parking spots, etc.) close to rail or tube links that anyone has used? Would prefer to be on west side of London as coming from West Wales.

There’s a CL in Eton area. Easy access to London. Take a look on CAMC website. Stop press, it’s not there anymore. Sorry.
