hi does anyone have the address of the official Aire in Logrono please? I am parked in a large carpark in the centre with lots of other vans (Las Norias) but apparently its not the 'official aire'?

I'd rather have chemoical waste if possible...thanks in advance

Las Norias is a much nicer place to park (plenty of shade) than the aire proper. Just my humble opinion.

Both are only about half a km apart.

agreed - thats where we stayed in the end, and emptied the tank in the official aire next morning.

I thought Logrono was a great place - i recommend the pig nose crackling tapas. Nice.

Stay in the shade. Been told to park better there by the Police. Remembered I could pump up suspension (see running with suspension on lowest for French tolls) and duly able to reverse further into bay. So there is no issue.
The trick with Logrono is, from the visitor centre, take a guide book to the bars then see how many you can visit marking for taste, novelty, wine and cost. We usually manage 5 or 6 before the book is left or we forget. Even nominating one of our offspring makes this a mission impossible shrouded in a happy haze. Absolutely brilliant if you have a dog as you eat in the street using the old wine barrels as tables. Black pudding rolled in nuts does it for us or garlic oyster mushrooms. Enjoy.
Logrono is twinned with Dunfermline where the in laws are from and the wife did not know before visiting.
Cannot wait to get back next year. We intend doing a grand tapas or pinchos tour. Happy days ahead.

We tried to get onto the Aire one night but a festive was going on so had no chance as everywhere was rammed with cars. Ended up at Viana which turned into one of our regular overnight stops. Short distance from Logrono, very quiet with lovely old town short walk from Aire.

Aire big enough for large motorhomes, we've stayed with the rv and trailer and in the Sprinter, what ever time of year there's always been space.
Also on the Camino route so plenty of pilgrims walking through.

I agree, we stayed at Las Norias car park along with 20 other motorhomes, ( 2 days ago), the Aire was empty when we arrived and empty when we departed next morning

i parked lengthways because i was too low at the back but no one said anything. I like the sound of Viana. I think we will always need the one night stop over on the way to the ferry, and the journey is pretty much complete at or around Logrono
