Recently took delivery of a new Adria Sonic Supreme I find after the MH is locked if I open in again on the key fob and exit through the habitation door the the MH will lock itself fortunately the wife has been at home on both occasions has anyone else experienced this .
Been told by the dealer this is right but I can’t see how it can be or is there a fix.
Thanks in advance
Jim

Quite usual and down to the base vehicle. It will auto lock the cab doors (and by default the habitation door) if you unlock and don’t enter the cab. The vehicle has no way of knowing that the habitation door has been opened so it thinks you’ve inadvertently unlocked the vehicle so locks it again (usually after 30 seconds) for security. The way to do it and stop it auto locking again is to unlock, then open a cab door and shut it again. That way it should stay unlocked.

Thanks for your help just getting to grips with the A class seams a chew on when you have your screens round but if that’s the way it’s got to be. I will have a word with an auto electrical see if there is away round it.

Is it because you left the keys inside and the motorhome, for security, locks because thinks you are inside to?
I would keep your keys in your pocket all the time (y)

I’m sure a good auto electrician can turn off the auto re lock function on the base vehicles’ computer.

Mine does this as the base vehicle treats it as a false unlock if a cab door is not opened once unlocked. Now as a habit I open an close the cab door before using the habitation door
