I have a 300ah Fogstar drift wired up with an Ablemail 12/2 battery conditioner.

I'm trying to keep the lithium leisure battery around 80% while it sits on the drive doing nothing. Its not plugged in to the mains.

I've switched the charging off on the fogstar app.

Will the Ablemail still keep the vehicle battery topped up or do I have to keep turning the app charging setting on every once in a while?

If you have turned charging off in the BMS inbuilt to the battery, then it shouldn't accept any charge from anything.

So long as the discharge is still on, on fogstar it should do within the parameters you have set on ablemail.

I expect the ablemail should still be able to draw the 2amp or what evrry it pulls out of the lithium. The ablemail doesnt charge the lithium. You will need to monitor it though as you dont want the soc to go into block out where it wont wake itself up.

From memory I have a Fogstar Pro 300ah seem to recall that if you turn off your battery it automatically goes into storage mode I could be wrong but check you operation manual
