I’ve a Lithium leisure battery fitted which came with my new Pilote .
Supplied by a French company
www.eza.fr not sure if there any good but I’m wondering if I can run a 1500 watt inverter of it and power a 600 watt microwave for up to 4 minutes
According the spec it says maximum continuous discharge current 150 amp / 1900watts
Would that be feesible

With inverter losses included, you will get away with it.

Mine uses about 90 amps on 1000w load. The microwave won’t be much more than that.

Beware though with a cheap inverter, they aren’t rated anywhere near the max they say.

i have a renogy 1000watt fitted in my caravan which seems pretty reliable so was thinking of buying the same again but higher capacity

Renogy have good reviews on here. 👍

Without understanding what the input power (not the output power that you quoted) of your microwave is, it’s not possible to answer your question.

However, on the basis that your 1500W inverter is capable of powering your microwave, then, at maximum load, your inverter would draw approximately 150A from your batteries.

If you ran this for 4 minutes then you’d consume approximately 10Ah.

On that basis, you should be ok. 👍
