I notice Renogy has a sales campaign on for a 100 Amp Hour Lithium for £199. This must be very close or even below the cost of the equivalent lead acid alternative capacity.

Is this the big turning point?

Its amazing progress for the consumer, a challenge accepted for the industry.

Tony.

Be aware it needs a shunt for monitoring, no bluetooth..
A saw Ecoworth advertising their 100am bluetooth version for £269 so prices as certainly falling..

The Fogstar ones have fallen in price too. £219 and that is not on offer.

I am surprised by how far the price is falling. I suspect it will fall a bit more due to competition. All good news for us :D

I think a Bluetooth shunt is essential on a decent installation.
BMS only gives a rough guide to state of charge.

I agree that a shunt is very valuable on any installation, but bluetooth? .....

Give me a physical display every time.

And, no doubt, you have it all for the house, as well!

How do people manage without?

Mind you, I still prefer the physical display in the van
