For anyone that needs Angles Mort signs for trips this year, here is a link to either magnetic or removable self cling stickers.

The self cling is reusable if returned to the backing paper.

We haven’t used them but saw these recommended elsewhere.

Thanks, just ordered three self cling ones (just in case I find myself in France).

Did you order these? Static cling ones.

According to the info they are only needed in urban areas. Is that true?

It is true in that only urban areas have pollution, therefore it is only urban areas that have emission zones. However, some of the designated areas may cover a wide area which has some bits which appear quite rural but are still covered.

There are some cities, e.g. Paris, Grenoble etc. which have permanent zones.

Most of the emission zones are only active in respect of denying entry to certain pollution classes when they are promulgated as such, because the pollution levels have reached a pre-determined level.

If one is driving into a designated emissions zone, whether active or not, one is required to display a Crit'Air sticker.

All good advice and information Sir! We are however talking about Angles Morts signage, zones and usage, not Crit Air on this topic! 😉🤪

However, the link is that the Angles Morts signs are only required in urban areas (however they may be defined)

We use the cling on static one on the rear, but for some reason people seem to want to build an ugly laminated one held on with sucker pads instead🤔

Is it possible you're confusing these with Crit Air stickers?

No. There are various reports stating that about Angles Mort but I don't think they are accurate now. Pretty sure it was aimed at commercial vehicles but I do believe having read the legislation they are required everywhere.

I posted a link to the legislation here

I thought the cling on ones were for use on the USS Enterprise

Hi both,
Hope you're keeping ok. Unfortunately we need some stickers for our trip to France in June. Last time I used self adhesive stickers which brought a small of paintwork off when removing 😬
Have you tried these self-cling type, especially on the side of the van, and if so were they successful please (ie didn't peel off en-route).
Thanks
John and Diane

Sorreeeeeee!

But the bit about AM stickers in urban areas, was included in the original draft legislation but removed in the final one.
