We have a full set of these CD's and have 'ripped' them to .mp3 format so we can listen to them on tablet, phone etc.

Each CD makes about an hour listening and equates to about 60mb.

I was wondering if any other Funsters would be interested in a copy of these files and if so, how could I make these files accessible ?

Even compressing these files, they only reduce by about 10-15 % so still too large for emails.

I am considering Cloud storage such as Google Drive or Dropbox etc but anyone wanting to download them, would they have to open an appropriate account to access the files?

Does anyone have any advice/ experience they can offer?

What I am after is a simple link to a Cloud storage site that I can put on a thread which will allow Funsters to click on the link and download any or all of these 8 files at random.

Another thought, to keep it 'in-house', was ask Jim if they could be loaded in the Resources Section, but that could probably raise copyright issues.

Any ideas?

Would be interested, but we are rubbish at technology

Can you post info on the spanish group here on fun

How big is each file?

I think this is the transcript?

Its a good beginners course but I still recommend Michel Thomas so you understand the language, not just parrot learning.

Edit

There is available somewhere the page by page transcript of the CDs but I can't find them by google.

I could scan and copy each page if someone needs them.

Hope this helps,
  1. Step 1: Launch ES File Explorer and navigate to the files you want to compress.
  2. Step 2: Long-press on a folder to compress the whole folder. ...
  3. Step 3: After you've selected all the files for your ZIP file, tap on "More," then select "Compress."
Yiu would need something like WinZip to open again.

Hi I did the same course in Spanish, walked into a cafe wanted a orange juice and forgot the word, I think I have now forgotten the rest of the course. ( Not Naranja though).

Please don't post them here.
They were given free to Daily Mail readers many years ago.

Not sure if they are copyright as a free resource.

They are going for about £8.00 on the auction site.

Somewhere you can find the transcripts for each disk. I down loaded them many years ago and printed then off.

Hasta Luego!

At least you didn't make the mistake I did. Starting from Seville, we travelled west along the coast to the Ria Formosa National Park. In a cafe carefully instructed the grandson how to order an apple juice in Spanish. Then on his own to the bar, to deliver his prepared speech. He came back with a big grin and a large apple juice. So, how did it go? Great, the barman speaks English, and he said to tell you this is Portugal.
