Failure of the Lighting System.
The 'home was actually constructed in 2010.
From time to time when the bathroom lights were switched on, the whole of the lighting system would go dead but recover when the bathroom lights were switched off. After that, the whole system would be normal.
Just recently however, with one exception of the circuit over the bed, the whole system has gone on the blink except for a few LED light strips that will come on if switched on alone but as soon as another circuit is brought in, they disappear too.
I have added an LED strip onto the one existing LED strip and added one LED strip over the cooking area on another separate circuit.
All the fuses are good.
I have cleaned up all the connections I can find such as light switches, battery, emergency cut-off.
I have two halogen bulbs to be replaced when they arrive in a day or two.
My fear is that underneath the fuses is a jungle of wires connected to an ECB that is now 13 years old. Could that be the problem?
Any suggestions will be welcomed.
