So I've been using usb powered portable lights and copper wire lights for years.. But want a fixed light by my bed to read by.. Saw these which are 12 v but not led bulbs. Just a tiny spotlight with a switch on it.. Can anyone tell me if I fit two, will they drain my power too much.
I have a small set up.
100 watt solar panel on a 120 amp leisure battery and a split charger.
I have a very small chest fridge and
300 w inverter, used to run blender and charge laptop.. All only used occasionally.
Aside from that i just charge my phone and usb light. Mainly use van in summer, drive fairly often .. so has been working fine for me.
Attached a pic of the proposed light. Can't find out any info aside from it being 12v.
If anyone knows how much power it will use appreciate info cheers.

Hi thanks for replying.. No link.. I posted the photo literally have no info on it other than its a 12v caravan light. Seller does not know any thing else

Should be able to replace the lamp in that with a led one.

Ah cool..
Exactly. LEDs are ten times more efficient than standard filament bulbs. A 1W LED bulb will give out the same amount of light as a 10W filament bulb. I replaced my 10W bulbs with 2W LEDs, so twice the light and a fifth of the power consumption.

There are different 'colour temperatures'. A 'bright white' , about 3000K, is what most people think of as LED lights, but you can get 'warm white' about 2000K, which give light very similar to a filament light bulb, if you prefer that. And because LEDs are low power, they are cool.

Perfect. Thank you.. :)
