Recently brought a Auto Trail Tracker 2014 that we are very pleased with however the Handbook is totally useless, either that or its me:(. There are 2 switches on the near side as you enter the van one operates the electric step the other does not do anything. The lights above the kitchen sink do not work is the switch for these if so The lighting strips are dud. The handbook does not explain how to replace these strips, any help / advice would be gratefully received.

Take the plastic cover, known as a diffuser in the trade, off each light fitting and check that the connections haven’t disconnected/come off. Push them on again and you should be good to go.
Cheers! Russ

You really need a cheap tester to see how far the power is getting 👍

Which one, switch or locker.

In mine, it operates the light in the immediate belly locker.

Is that switch for the outside light?

On ours a 2013 Tracker FB, there is a 2 way rocker switch that does the outside awning light and interior light just above the door. There is a push button just below it for the step.

On my Autotral Excel, the diffusers can be removed by slightly squeezing in the sides at one end and then gently easing the diffuser off.

Sorry Solly, been otherwise engaged and just returned to this. If you squeeze the diffuser sides together with your thumb and forefinger and pull down it should pop out. The diffuser is kind of spring loaded into the baseplate of the light fitting. You should find the connection to the LED strip inside the fitting has come out, it’s a tiny multi plug affair.

Hope that helps!!
Thanks explanation and Drawing are very helpful, however, my problem is that the defuser is tight up against the front panel so I cant get a finger besides it
looking at the drawing I will now try to slide something in on tight side.
