Morning boys and girls.

A quick question which I think I know the answer to, but just wanted to check. I havenjust turned 70 and have had the C1 etc removed because of progressive peripheral neuropathy. I am going to appeal and get my GP to write to DVLA to say it is stabilised.
However, stepping down to a 3500kg van, will I still be able to tow a toad?

Assuming you still have B+E yes assuming total train weight is less than 7000kg.

Yes but with a van I don’t find so much need for a toad and have now sold mine.

Thanks all. As we use our motorhome we use a car quite a lot because of my restricted movement. I cannot walk very far and do have a tenancy to fall over. We tow a Fiat 500 and put my folding electric wheelchair in the back so we can go to markets and the like. My new licence has not arrived yet but I have a digital version from the DVLA website. I do have B+E and passed my test back in the early 70's.

Right at the time we find ourselves with a bit more money to spend on ourselves and the time to do it, life has a habit of making it difficult for us .... best wishes and i hope you get it sorted in such a way as you can continue to do the things you want to do
