Levelling up Lunacy

Out birding yesterday afternoon on the Sierra del Plata Massif above Bolonia, SW Spain and came across this guy wilding. Nothing unusual but what is bordering on a death wish is how he has levelled the van up by driving onto a large rock on the extreme edge of the steep sided valley falling away several hundred feet, utterly terrifying. They where using the drivers door to enter and exit the van 😱😱😱

I looked at the pictures from the rear and thought that's not so bad. Then I got to the pictures from the front and I was thinking the OP should be ready to jump if that rock(lump of dirt) under his front wheel moves more than a millimeter. It does show the importance of perspective!

More noticeable is the absence of rocks to chock the wheels. What used to be called the African Handbrake in pre-PC days.
 
Maybe its an anti theft plan.. To stop people getting into the hab door..
