Hi Everyone
Quick question from a newbee - hope you can help.
Looking at levellers as we anticipate the arrival of our AS Fairford in a couple of weeks 🤞🏻
Is there a type or brand that we should be looking at - or are they basically all the same.
Thanks for your wisdom and experience!

If you've not used ramps before, there's a couple of points. First look underneath the ramp. If it's solid or mostly solid, it won't tend to sink as easily into sand or soft soil. Some of them are hollow underneath.

Another thing that happens is, on smooth tarmac the ramp skids as you start to drive up it. To stop this, some ramps have a flat bit at the start, so the tyre goes onto this to stop the ramp from moving. The flat bit may be part of the ramp, or a detachable/screw-on piece, or even a long plate that goes completely under the whole ramp.

Try going without first. Whilst some people are meticulous about getting level, others just don't care. Make sure you are the meticulous type before spending cash and storage space/weight on them.

I had some millenco quatro but sold them to someone on here. They are huge and heavy so make sure you have room before purchase. We currently have some Fiamma ones, not as good but not as large and heavy either. We rarely use them anyway, can usually park somewhere level enough that the wineglasses don't slide off the table.

Had the Milenco Quattro’s for my 7.5m , Autotrail Apache which were great with the 4 height options but they are big and heavy which wasn’t a problem with a Motorhome with the space to store them, now we have a PVC they were way too big to store, now have the smaller Thule ramps that we can store easily but lose out on the height of the Milenco Quattro’s but have worked ok for us. Everything is a compromise I guess.
