MH newbie but we owned a caravan previously.
Off to Spain in June spending a week/ten days pottering through France down the eastern side. There are lot of these villages listed (many more not listed). I've been searching the internet trying to find a list of the villages that have aires or campsites. Can't find anything. Be glad to be told I didn't look hard enough but can anyone point me in the right direction? Don't fancy writing them all down then then looking for matches on SFS or whatever. TIA.

I think you'll find nearly all of them have an aire on the outskirts of the village or nearby.
I just select one on the route I want to visit then look on SfS for the aire / campsite.
If you find one without an aire, there is sure to be day parking and an aire a few miles away at most

An easy way is to use google maps. Just search for the name of the village to get in the correct area and then put camping car or aire in the search box and it it show you where they are in that vicinity. You can then tap the one you want and if it looks good, in terms of location and the google photos, press Save and create a personal list of stopping places.

Have a pop through the internet but search for "tourisme Aude" or "tourisme herault" and first hit should be the official tourist information website for that area.

A lot of them list their beaux villages, they also list their Aires, and they put them onto an interactive map which may be worth keeping in your favourites

I haven't found an easier way apart from creating my own maps.
If you use maps.me I think I have all (or most) of the beaux villages on there. Pm me if you want it

Don't know if Semur en Brionnais is east enough. We stopped here last July. Has motorhome spaces in the "parking visiteurs" on Google Maps. You van see where on streetview. The plums pictured are parked across the marked spaces!

It's a beaux village with Castle. The parking also has a motorhome service area to dump grey. Can't remember if black.
