I enjoyed the thread very much.
We've just returned from a similar trip but carried on to Sicily. We stayed at some of the same campsites. I nearly brained myself at camp Igor by walking into the garage door we'd left open! Lovely lady there i agree who gave me 3 lemons from her garden and a hug on leaving . I. took note of the ski resort Ravascletta in the dolomites from your trip . I am always on the look out for smaller quieter lesser known places to ski

Great to read your experience in Germany and Croatia, we want to give it a try in late September the last two weeks and then call off in Munich for the beer festival in October.
