HI, I have to change two leisure batteries Do I have to disable the solar unit first or just change the batteries.
Thanks in advance
John

Disconnect the solar from your controller then connect the batteries first so your controller can see what batteries they are then connect the solar…😎

Two wet cell batteries in a sprinter winchcombe MH with Sargent control and ff 80w solar panel

I have battery charge meter on the sargent panel that said the duff batteries were charged 100% but didn't hold charge but now I have the new ones in it says 20% even though the solar panel has been putting a lttle bit and I have connected to ehu for a couple of days and sits at 12.6v

The solar panels has to be connected last so the controller can take a reading of the batteries
