Leisure Battery Advice, Please

Whilst at home i tend to leave MHome without EHU, fridge turned off with solar panels topping up. I keep check on battery status during week.

After removing EHU yesterday, this morning found warning light re leisure battery Whilst it was dull pm yesterday and this morning i didn't expect the battery warning.

Why would it discharge so quickly, i think everything turned off but had left power on 1kw?

Have I messed up battery, 4 and half years old or will battery recharge back to full operational capability?

4 and a half years is pretty good life for a battery. Last AGM I had died after 30 months. Now installed a KS lithium. Job done, no problems and 140 W solar keeps it fully charged.

Depending on their controller they may have something similar to what we have with our Alde heating system. This will obviously only be limiting the amps supplied so as not to trip the EHU on some sites but will not be using any power.

Its just a setting within the Alde control panel, you can set it to 1/2 or 3 kw. Quite often reduces down to 1kw when on 10amp EHU. Hope that makes sense
