Hi all. Can anybody tell me if there is any easy way to test the voltage of the leisure battery whilst in situ in a new Bürstner Lyseo 690G please?
As far as I can tell it’s under the drivers seat and I think the seat needs to be removed(v heavy) to get access.
We have a solar panel (factory fit) that keeps the hab battery topped up but doesn’t appear to charge the starter battery. Have just been away for 3 weeks, MH in storage in open area(cloudy)and starter batt voltage down to 11.5V.
Leisure batt showing 13.5v on MH control panel. Only just enough to start it. Have driven 40/50 miles. Multi meter test of starter battery before ehu was 12.4v.
Thought solar was trickle charging starter battery when hab batt full.
Any info/thoughts gratefully appreciated
Matt

I think that starter battery charging from the solar supply depends on your model of EBL that is fitted , if needed , a Vanbitz battery master should overcome this problem , easy to fit and not expensive. (The Motorhome fun shop has them)

As GeoffnDee says above, the VanBitz Battery Master will be ideal as it tops up the starter battery when your leisure battery voltage is higher than the starter battery. Installation is quite straightforward with 3 wires to connect at the DC-DC charger.
